# Community Engagement Policy

**Community Engagement Commitment**

We believe in our community and endeavour to support the local creators, producers, initiators, and incubators that make London a thriving place to live, work and raise families.

As an organization, we:

* Contribute 5% of revenue in sponsorship, donations, and work-in-kind to support community impact efforts.
* Volunteer as a team to support at least one community event/initiative per year.
* Offer our historic building to community impact groups meeting our criteria (free or at a discounted rate), schedules allowing.

For our team members, we:

* Offer [flexible work hours](/rtraction-policies/published/flexible-work-policy.md) during the day to enable attendance at non-profit and charitable governance activities such as committees and board meetings.
* Offer paid time off (in addition to vacation / personal time) to support their motivating causes of social good.

We pledge to be active participants in the city that nurtures our team, understands our mission, supports our vision, and ultimately enriches our communities.
